Hi folks i was lying in my bed the other morning thinking ? could i use lemonade to make a wash,they say its full of sugar ie Coke as 216 grams of sugar in every 2 litres of Coke .what do you think! get 22 litres of lemonade work out the sugar content add more if required then add the yeast.could this be done,lemonade in some supermarkets is only 19p for 2litres.can anyone tell if it is posible.thanks marbaker

Hi marbaker,

I've seen similar questions elsewhere and the general consensus seems to be that it's not a real good idea, IIRC there seemed to be too many additives that arent yeast friendly in most soft drinks (coke,pepsi etc etc)

If you do go ahead and try it I think a lot of people would be interested to hear your results no matter how it turned out.
