fuse oils and Methanol sugar wash

I have read around this topic and there is a lot of contradicting statements.
Some say there is no methanol from sugar washes, others say there is, what is true?
I understand there is stuff in the heads we really dont want anyway but curious how much good hearts people are getting on average from a 25l TPW or weetbix. Yes I know it varies but what are peoples norms per batch?
Also there was discussion about sugar washes and sugar burn being difficult to avoid (whatever that is?) Yet others getting ethanol tested of various forums are getting very pure ethanol so again it seems like this is a non issue.
My own experience though trying other peoples product shows just how much really bad stuff there is out there, is this due to turbo yeast?
Has anyone run scientific tests or have good scientific links to explain any of these things?
Cheers
Chris

I end up with approx 10% of the wash volume in useable product.
So 25L = 2.5L, 100L = 10L etc

I get much less as 2.5L is not just the hearts.

10% is useable product, not hearts.

Yes my point, I am talking about what you drink, not clean your windows with. I am getting around 2 L, this was my discussion.
