Arrrggghhhh! 18 months and it tastes like Bricanyl

Shit!. Diluted some 18 month old Bourbon and it tastes like fukin cough syrup. :puke-huge: Initial taste is OK, but the residue on the tongue sucks ass.

The batch before was really nice and a sample from the batch after is good (only 14 months old).

Now I'm gunna have to check the run sheets. It went a bit cloudy at 40%. Smells OK, but I may have gone into the tails a bit far. I might do a quick and dirty run through the pottie and shelve it in the white.

My Bourbon stocks are a bit low. I've got about 5 x 5l jars at 65% sitting under the bench waiting for old man time to do his stuff.

I might change the recipe next batch. Not sure whether I need the wheat in there.

Anyone made a nice Bourbon on Corn and Barley?
