New method. Soak for 2 hours first time, then drain. Second soak for up to 2 hours (did just over an hour this time), drained and then out into this shell. Been using the hose and mist spray (sparingly) to keep them moist but not wet! We've got good temperatures here so things are progressing quickly...

Placed the original fly screen over it to reduce potential insect infestations and then covered with a towel to keep th sun off...
