Leaking t500

Postby ZEROINSTINCT » Sun Jan 20, 2019 9:44 am

Hi all,
I’m sure I’m not the only one this has happened to but I did my first still run last week and noticed a small air/ liquid leak coming between the brass column and the plastic adapter on the outlet side. Any advise on how to fix this??
I would attach a pic but seems I need to learn how to do that also

Is that the water outlet or the distillate outlet. My water outlet is stainless but I googled the t500 and it looks like some of them are plastic. If it is the water outlet, mine leaks occasionally but only a drop every now and again. From memory, there is a nut on the inside of the water outlet, but getting in there to tighten it might be another thing.

Wasn’t a major leak.... just noticed a bit of moisture under it and bubble from the pressure. Unfortunately it is leaking from between the plastic and the column.... assume this is bad as it’s probably alcohol and fumes leaking. Mine is a black plastic holding it together. I undid the 2 square drive screws to find a nut that seems hard to tighten due to it being ressesed in the plastic. Must tighten from the inside of the column?? Any advise??

Is it still under warranty? If so, take it back to the vendor.
