TPW/T500 Boiler

Postby griff4 » Thu Jul 12, 2012 10:21 pm

I've been using the T500 for about 12 months now using turbo yeast washes - with good results. If I wanted to use the Tomato paste recipe would I have to adjust the 500 in any way, or distill the wash as I would a Turbo...would it harm the T500. Thanks for any advice!

Hello,

I likewise have a T500. I have also done a TPW via a T500. Other than using steel pads instead of the ceramic halves I havent done anything.

Although, I'm sure it depends on what you do to clean your still & column.

Regards,

Matt

Griff you wont have to change anything, just let the TPW settle and clear after fermentation has finished, then run it.
If your not already doing cuts you should probably read the information in the following link first.
