With a choice of copper or stainless what do you guys suggest I use. Can you tell the difference in the final taste.

equipment: No still yet as still putting together a parts list so I can put it together. Ideally I will build a reflux still with all the temperature and control electronics as that's my day job so just need to brush up on my soldering and brazing skills and get stuck in !

You need some copper in the path to remove some Nasties but in the end it's whatever your easiest using......

To elaborate you always need to have some copper to nuetralise the sulfides but you can still make it out of stainless just have some copper mesh packing etc
