Adding old liquer to tpw

Hi..... I have several bottles of old wines and liquers ie pimms No 1 at 31%. Can I add this 750 ml to my tpw wash prior to distilling In a T500 reflux. Will it effect the flavour of the spirit? I dont think it will.
