Battery for T500 Thermometer

Postby QLD.Andy » Sun Jun 03, 2012 7:02 am

I filled up the boiler, stuck the T500 head on and bugger me, the batteries are dead in the thermometers.
Where will I find these on a Sunday ?????

What battery is it ??? Whats the number on the back ???

Hearing aid style button type or larger coin shaped lithium type ???

Dick Smith have a pretty good range and I've noticed woolworths seem to have more of a range than they used to.

You local chemist will also stock hearing aid style batteries.

Cheers

For future reference, and anyone else in your position, you should find them at most Chemists, some are open Sundays.

There is a second thermo on the T500 but its battery was dead as well.
The batteries lasted for 18 months so my guess would be that a spare battery would probably be useless after that amount of time.
