Searching the Site

Postby R-sole » Wed Jun 15, 2011 9:48 am

I made a custom search engine through google to search the site here...

Aussie Distiller Search

It uses google to search only this site for keywords.

Please use it before posting questions, you may well find the answer quicker than you can type the question. 8-)

Thank you for this 5Star. Its a great new tool for the forum and its users. For instance, just typing in, say, 'malt' or 'malt barley' has given me some better understandings ;)

I think since you have upgraded the site, none of the google links work anymore as you need to add .au to the URL's

I have updated it, but i think the site is just too new and hasn't been crawled by google yet. Engine seems to work, but returns no results.

These search engines are now both working again. I suspect it was as i said and the site had not yet been crawled. 8-)

Hi, found this site on Sunday and joined. I have an old 25L plastic tower reflux still and though haven't "distilled" for a couple of years, now have the time to re-enter and looking forward to putting some washes down. I was looking at purchasing a new still and would welcome thoughts or feedback on types? I have looked at Keggomax, N25 Fractional and the Essencia and welcome any thoughts or criticism on these and or others. Cheers, Les. ps; read McStills posts BUT couldn't e-mail as missing last letters and 5Star's (Dragon) site looks good BUT not versed enough to know what I need!!

1st things 1st Les,welcome mate :handgestures-thumbupleft: What's your main poison? Once we sort that out we can help decide on what style still would best suit your needs :handgestures-thumbupleft: :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Cupcake thanks, my poison is Whisky and Whisky only and the wife likes a "Bundy" style Rum or a "Bombay" style Gin. Les

Right, that's sorted :handgestures-thumbupleft: well there are a couple of options open to you, either a pot still or if you want to go all out,a bubble plate type still. The main difference here would be cost and of course they are two completely different stills :D
Next, build it yourself or purchase one ready to roll?
Your turn :handgestures-thumbupleft:
