How does that work?
I woulda assumed it would have been to make x litres using x strength add xlitres of x strength and x amount of water... not the case..?

I just put in the values of:
Concentrate 5 L of 30 % alcohol Up to 40 %
By adding 0.909 L of 95 % Neutral.

The 0.909 value was determined by the calculator.

Based off this, 5 L of 30 % contains 1.5 L of alcohol (5 x 0.3 = 1.5)
And 0.909 L of 95 % contains 0.86355 L of alcohol (0.909 x 0.95 = 0.86355)

So 5.909 L (5 + 0.909 = 5.909) should then contain 2.36355 L (1.5 + 0.86355 = 2.36355) of alcohol which is 40 % alcohol (2.36355 / 5.909 x 100 = 39.99 ~ 40 %).

No need to add extra water if you're trying to increase the concentration.

Yeah seems to work well.
You can even use it for diluting.
Just need to use high %ABV up to low %ABV and have 0%ABV in the last box.
