Vanilla beans

Any of you use fresh vanilla beans to flavor your sprits. I have had great results. And I also have a stupidly cheap supply. I almost fell over when I say them for $3 each at Safeway. Faark that!!!

Wish i had a stupidly cheap supply. I want to do a choc vannilla porter soon and definately don't want to pay bean prices.

We may do a deal :ugeek:

I will try to figure some thing out and advertiZe them. Not sure if i should put this in a diffrent thread. Not doing it fpr profit. Postage is about the same cost as the beans. I can get them for you no worries it's getting down to the post office that's the problem.
How many people are interested???

for those in the west you can get decent cheap beans from http://spicewest.com.au/

(i don't work for them - and i've only bought a couple times from them - i think it used to be a bit cheaper from their ebay store but maybe not anymore)
but so far so good - 10 beans for about $10 delivered
