Kaffir lime vodka

Macerate ~6 kaffir lime leaves in 600ml 40% neutral for 2 weeks, add 100ml sugar syrup, and 4ml glycerin.
This goes a faint fluro green, and the addition to the summer cocktail list is unbeatable.
I leave a small leaf in the bottle for shits and giggles.
Goes well straight outta the freezer

This sounds great.. I've been making all types of flavored vodkas for summer..mostley been using frozen berries from woolies and other over ripe fruit I can get my hands on...
Just put a liter of this one down..can't wait to try it in a piña colada..

We have a huge Kaffir lime tree in the garden (3 mts tall) Made this and tried it yesterday. Wonderful, thanks for this recipe, will definitely make more :handgestures-thumbupleft:
