T500 Temperature probe issue

I did a calibration check on my T500 temp probe using an accurate mercury thermometer and discovered that at 85 deg C, the T500 probe over reads by 5 deg C.

The temp difference at 50 deg C is zero!

Does anyone know how to re-calibrate the T500 probe or just chill out?

TIA

How old is the probe because that looks to be very inaccurate but if measures constant wrong temperature could just adjust for the difference.

Thanks wynnum1, I think the probe is about 5 yrs old...I think I'll just adjust for the error. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

when I ran a T500 the temp probe only showed me it was running stable.
I took no notice of the actual temp it varied so much and from what everyone else reckons "they run great at xx temp" mine ran great at 38°c but others said i was lying because they couldn't get a stream at that and they had to run at 60°c.
Just run based on the stream output and you wont have an issue
the 4" bubbler I have now doesn't even have a temp probe. I was going to put one in while building it but just wanted it running so haven't finished a few things off and the more I have used it the more I have decided its not needed.
