Adding tap to keg - what washers to use?

As the title says, I'd like to purchase a stainless steel keg for storing my neutral and drill into the lower side of the keg to add a stainless steel or copper spigot for decanting into bottles as needed. I can find kegs online. I can find spigots online. What I can't find are PTFE/Teflon washers. The spigots come with washers but I can't determine the construction material - I suspect not PTFE.

I need a 16mmID washer. Is there another material that is safe to use so I don't get leaks?

Cheers

I believe 5star have the whole assembly , (tap, washer, and nut ) available in the store.
If you give Andrew a call I am sure he will point out which one works best.
