I was looking for a pot for dissolving/converting sugar and doing odds and ends like the bran in FFV.

Found these at Kmart. 15l @ $17. Most on Amazon are $50+. Picked up 2 today. They feel pretty good.

Update:

I used the pots today, put down a double batch of FFV. Pot heated fine on my gas cooktop in the kitchen. I dabbled with inverting the sugar, was able to safely fit 5l of water and 8kg of sugar in the pot.

They are definitely lighter gauge than my other pots, but they do the job.
