Post mix SS keg cleaning ideas needed

Hello all,

Bought a couple more 19lt SS post mix kegs yesterday. One sadly has had an old syrup sitting in it and is badly stained and heavily encrusted with all sort of shite I don't want in my new 3 hop pilsner.

Tried vinegar water...any other suggestions for cleaning inside these bastards of kegs?

Napisan - the pink unscented one. Cap or two of that and fill with water and leave soak for a few days. Repeat as necessary.

We use Sodium Percabonate hot water and a good shake... Sodium Perc is the active ingredient in napisan...so Wedwards is spot on...if it can lift baby kak it can lift anything.

Make sure you put hot water in for the initial soak with the unscented napisan. It cleans better that way. I think it's 54 or 64 degrees that the water has to be for the per carbonate to be activated. Hot tap water will do tho.

just don't use Miltons and forget you left it soaking, really good way to stuff the keg, pin holes right at the waterline :angry-banghead:
