Do u leave the grain in the wash and run it in the still??

No mate! The most popular way is 'racking' (syphoning the wash from the top down) from you're fermenter to the boiler leaving the grain and yeast cake in the bottom of fermenter. You could then reuse the grain/ yeast to continue a 2nd gen.

Cheers muppet, makes sence, I'm new to this, how can you reuse the grain/yeast again for a second gen? Also what's a second gen exactly mate? Cheers

Read the bourbon knock off thread to learn about generations mate. I have played around with up to five gens of this stuff. Its all very nice but to be honest the recipe on page one is the best.

Just a noobee question.. I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to run a fine batch like like this through a T500. Am I right.?

Probably not  really needs a pot or bubbler to bring through all that malty goodness :D

So you mean strip out the saddles and then run it?

Sweet. Done.
In the mean time I'll be starting on the building of a "bubbler" mate.

Cheers again.

Definitely, to get full flavor, taking your packing out will reduce reflux considerably and give you less ABV and more flavor.

Cool bud on the bubbler build. Didnt realize you had already put a wash on. But as the other said reduce the reflux and run it hard to carry flavor across.. also your going to love the build process :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Checked the wash this morning and it's blown the liquid from the air lock dry.
Counting down the days.

You could if you used some peated malt I guess, but not sure the peat flavour would carry through to the end product from a sugar head

Do it I doubt you will regret it, I reckon this stuff needs at least 4 months on oak to come into its own....then its real tasty.
