Making a Gin Extract

Gin extract for those that dont have the means or want to run a gin. It makes a good drop. I do it in an airstill and it is handy to have sitting around.
35g juniper berries
2g coriander seeds
2g cardamon pods
2g orris root
1g lemon myrtle / citrus peel
400ml water
1. Smash ingredients and add water.
2. Run still & collect 75mls extract. Should be cloudy, this indicates good extraction of the oils.
3. Combine extract & 75mls of 95% neutral. You now have 150mls of extract.
Dosage
10mls per L of 40% neutral.
You now have enough for 15 litres in a fraction of the time it takes to run a maceration.
