Something to hold parrot

Hey folks,

Just got a parrot in the mail for my Ultra Pure reflux still (see http://aussiedistiller.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6837)

Hoping to find if there's a tool that will connect to column and hold the parrot in place for me? Not sure exactly what is used or commonly available in tool stores, maybe along the lines of a long vice or something?

:text-thankyoublue:
FK :)

This is what you want, chair to hold a box up to hold my condenser at the right height, using a similar box holds my parot up at perfect height for my collection vessel.

Btw.. Better be careful of those goat assistances of yours, they eat and drink anything so I've been told.. Don't leave the hearts out!!! x_x

Redux .....I like the plastic milk containers on the ladder , good thing you're milking your goats while stillin, otherwise they might make a handy collection vessel 8-}

:laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

those bottles are vinegar bottles... they add weight in the centre of the plank to reduce the chance of catastrophic tipping over....

the assistants are wethers so i havent tried milking them... any volunteers? :laughing-rolling:

s'n's.... once i tightened the clamps up to the recommended tension, no leaks.... i blew vinegar steam fairly hard to force any to show but it was all good (thanks for the advice mac!)

today im going to run tpw... oh happy days!!

Annnnnnnd to answer the OP's question...less cryptically :teasing-tease:

Have a look at this thread... it may help
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1385&p=43589&hilit=ultra+pure+reflux+still#p43589

Anything to sit your parrot on would work though.

Some have a fitting that connect the two together, but I gather you are looking for the least expensive alternative.
So the above thread would be the idea. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

haha seeing those goats made me think of my last 'rooster processing' adventure...

I was feeling bit weird going with slitting their throats in a killing cone (supposedly recommended in place of the old head chop), so a few mins with Google and I found some people gave their birds some 'vodka cake', so gave it a go.

Made for some very mean angry drunks, I can tell you that now.
