Hi Members, :greetings-waveyellow:
I am trying to flavour up to match a Johnie Walker Black label. Has anyone had luck trying? PLEASE.
I have used the Classic Whisky from Still Spirits range. :obscene-drinkingchug:

Unfortunately you’ll be hard pressed to ever replicate an exact commercial spirit. But, by doing proper cuts and with time you should be able to make something that is better :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Not sure if I am allowed to post links to other websites but I found this list the other day https://aussiebrewer.com.au/make-favour ... cipe-list/

I've never tried it but I am planning to try the JD and Canadian Club recipes once my next wash is ready. Will let you know if its any good.

I tried Similar to ‘Glenmorangie Single Malt’ (Single Malt Whisky) years ago
Nothing like the real thing

Welcome! I could never get any combo of essences to my liking, rum or whisky. A few have come close with initial taste but the smell was always very "chemical" and left a bad aftertaste too. I always found that using about half the recommended amount worked best too. Glad I've left essences behind that's for sure....

Welcome Steve.

Once you've tried a really well made homegrown whisky, you'll probably never want to drink JW again.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
