Old newbie

Hi all, I’m hardly a seasoned pro but not exactly a novice either. I, like many others, started the craft with beer, mead and wine before moving into distilling. I run both a pot still and a simple LM reflux on my 50L keg boiler. I like to keep things pretty basic and only find the occasional time to indulge in this hobby as I have a few others! I use a 50l urn as my mash tun and fermenter. I age in various glass jars and jugs with oak dominoes and spirals. I’m married to a former wine maker who has, over the years, been able to impart quite a bit of useful knowledge to me and my best mate owns his own meadery so I’ve got some good resources to answer most of my questions. Im always fascinated by what other people are doing and always a firm believer in ‘there’s more than one way to skin a cat’. Thanks for reading, I’m glad I finally got around to introducing myself.
Shine on!
