found this site surfing the net. not sure how many people are here from different places. iv been making my own stuff for about a year now. joined a few forums to try and learn some stuff. some recipes can be a little complicated. im a big fan of rum and from what most say that australians are the ones to ask. i dont have musch to offer but would appreciate hanging around and doing some reading to learn more, thanks and hope to join in soon.

Welcome Bradster.

There's a good number of rummies here, you're bound to pick up some pointers. I can recommend Mac's rum recipe here if you haven't tried it already: https://aussiedistiller.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=30

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Not hard at all. I get 23 litres for 80 dollars. Not sure if that's a good deal but the source is reliable so I'm ok paying that till a better deal comes along

Just curious, I would imagine brown or dark sugar is best for this. I always keep lots of white and brown(dark) on hand
