Hello from Hoss

Postby Hoss85 » Sun Feb 05, 2023 7:07 pm

hi everyone
so I went out and got my self a T500 from the local HBS, who told me it was a pretty simple process and hard to stuff up. and now I find my self here trying to find out why my first turbo wash put through the T500 has come out smelling like metho, I am currently putting it back through having ago at doing cuts and following the "proper way to run a T500"
hopefully I can get it to come out better then the first time, if not I made my first TPW tonight

Cheers from Hoss

Hey mate,
Not great advice from your local guy…….
But you’re in the right place now.
Have fun, read lots, stay safe.
Cheers

Welcome hoss. Use the turbo as a sacrificial run and a learning opportunity.

Hi there Hoss,

Welcome to the rabbit hole :greetings-waveyellow:

My first, and only, turbo wash came out smelling and tasting like low grade metho, not good :puke-huge:

Get onto the Tomato Paste Wash, in the recipe section, much easier and cheaper, then follow
the directions on how to run the T500 the proper way, found here viewtopic.php?f=57&t=10483

You won't believe the difference :music-deathmetal:

Have fun, and enjoy the ride mate.

Regards
Mark

Welcome Hoss.

You're not the first, you won't be the last! The T500 is certainly capable of making good neutral if run the proper way and given a good clean wash to start with - I can recommend WBAB which also makes superb neutral.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.
