My New Brew Rig

Been working on this over the last couple of weeks and it is all finished. Just got to get my new kettle. My current Kettle is 75 liters and that is going to become my mash tun, New Kettle will be 130 liters. I want to be able to make 100 liter ( 5 x Corny Kegs) batches as I don't have time to stuff around with smaller batches these days. Have been making my beers in the kitchen up till now so this monster will speed up things. 3 x 24 jet mongolian gas rings. All tested today for leaks etc and gas flow. roars like a rocket on full blast :) :violence-torch:

I am not a welder as you can tell but is is very solid. I had the gas manifold TIG welded for me, I did the rest.

Think I might call it the BLACK MAMBA :music-deathmetal:

Well I have seen some amazing still builds on this site and I could not do anything like those, I just welded it together with my cheep MIG and used an angle grinder a lot :) The rig design came from a YouTube vid that I had been looking at. I just scaled it to my pots and added a support for the burners because I could not hard pipe them. here is the link to the vid. PS the music for the vid is awsome https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkyHJ_cVxog the band is Cowboy Junkies and the song is Cicadas. Going to brew on Sunday with my old gear to give it a try. Just putting together an American Pale Ale recipe (all grain of course)

PS this rig is definitely an out side brewing rig, the heat those burners put out is volcanic.

Very nice brew rig Pete, I love things on wheels so they can be moved about easily top job.

And glad you picked a better color than the one in the video. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
