One of my fav's is the chicken soup I do, and also a great beef stew like Mulligans but I'm always looking for more ideas to get the belly full and body warm......

What's your favorite winter food?

Tradition around my parts require smoked turkey, hand made egg noodles, yams, potatoes, ........ Best of all egg noodles, cooked in the broth of the turkey.

IMHO a couple of (maybe even 3) shots of suitably-matured Thai Terror.
It warms the head and the body, quick and easy, and no washing up :handgestures-thumbupleft: :))

Kangaroo, sweet potato, carrot, some greens, hot chillies a hand full unsalted cashews, a hand full sultanas, a good curry paste/powder and some redwine.

throw all into slow cookers come back after 8 hours and add some corn starch to thicken sauce then once in bowl two or three good spoons of mango chutney on top. A good crusty bread by the side. voila.
