It was so hot in Adelaide today, I put all of the copper pieces in the sun with a few drops of solder, went inside for a beer and came back out to this!

And there you have it! A 4 plate 4" copper colander :laughing-rolling: :angry-banghead:

First job is to rebuild the PC, the rest is all just a matter of cleaning the flange surfaces up.

Crikey Bryan. "Taking forever" is a bit harsh. What about an inordinately long time. Sounds a bit better.

Started with the hardest bit, rebuilt my PC. I lopped about 40mm off of the top, made a new end plate and separated it from the 90° off of the blockhead. I've got a spare 2" clamp etc anyway, and now it doesn't leak!

Also took another sliver off of the sightglass tees so I can screw the brass rings into the glass a bit harder to seal them, and cleaned up the way flange faces on the modules a bit more.

If I didn't want you guys to 'push me along', I would lock the thread and only post my updates...

It's a bit rough being a moderator on a distilling forum without a still... I aim to change that ASAP.
