Bubbler run tutorial video

Hi guys,

I thought it might be of interest to some here if I did a video of one of my runs. I've tryed to explain how I go about it along the way. It's based on mac's "easy way to run a plated column".
http://aussiedistiller.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2681

Just remember this is how I do it not how you must do it. It is a basic run strategy for a 4" 4 plate bubbler running on 2400w no controller. You can tweak your runs to suit you however you like but try master the simple before going crazy with different strategies. Keep it simple to begin with.

I hope it's of use to some of you. I have a few hiccups along the way so it shows you how to overcome some problems you may face while running a still.

Well enjoy :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Fantastic, for someone who wants a bubbler but has a hard time imagining how it all works this is great. Thanks!

Excellent tutorial woodduck.

Extra points for getting a mention of the "shortcut" in there!

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Very good!

Picked up a few hints (plate-load & bubbles the way they look) will be looking for those little ‘signs’ on my next run!

Very helpful, IMO, for newbies & not-so newbies alike!

I reakon you should expand and add a second video on how fix things when they go pear shaped, puking flooding, plates drying up etc :handgestures-thumbupleft: Great video woody :handgestures-thumbupleft:

No worries guys, glad you all liked it.

I'll look into a few others like you've mentioned. I would also like to do some on making washes and generations.

See how I go for time.

Ok so I've moved this thread because I've been persuaded that this video might be more useful in the open forum to help those starting out with a bubbler. I'm still not sure about the helping bit but we'll see how it goes 8-} :laughing-rolling:

Hope it's of some use :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I'm a very visual orientated person, I've been reading and reading for over a year but I still haven't even made a wash but a 15 minute video really speaks a million words. Thanks mate
