Hi Guys,

Just received delivery of my new 100L boiler from Andrew at 5 star. Ordered last Saturday arrived on Wednesday.

Cleaned it on Thursday/ Friday and now on its maiden run.

Super impressed with the build quality, thanks to Andrew for the outstanding customer service.

May well be increasing production as a result of the upgrade.

Cheers

HG

Looks mint only improvement would be drain out the bottom instead of side.

To do that we would need to lift the boiler , concave the base and ……it goes on.
To keep the height low , a side drain is the only way

The side drain works just fine.
The bottom of the drain is flush with the bottom of the boiler.
I just pop a piece of 2x3 under the back to tilt it a fraction and hose it out.
I have an electric hoist over it to raise the column off the boiler.

Thanks Nathan, I just put a 75mm block under the leg when I emptied it yesterday.

Pulled it down this morning to clean the plates and packed section in citric acid, checked in the boiler and there was no residual liquid in there.

Reconfigured with 5 plates and a 500mm packed section. On trolley with 50mm legs fits in 2.7M ceiling.
Lucky I have tall garage doors.
