Where did you get that loooong copper reducer?

The reducer on the bottom has a small segment of 2" and an EZ flange connecting to the keg.
And also a small segment of 4" from the bell end to a 4" EZ flange. The reducer itself is a plan jane Nibco 4 x 2 copper reducer.

The reducer at the top is a www.5stardistilling.com.au boil ball halve.

That is very nice. You seem to drool over the same www.5stardistilling.com.au gear as I do.

Is there a reason why you set your lyne arm the way you did, attached to the 2" copper 180° with a 45° rather than by cutting the 180° at the desired angle and joining the copper cone directly onto it with a coupler?

The copper cone (2" to 3/4) reducer is also a www.5stardistilling.com.au item. Or was. It's not in production anymore as far as i know and i'm unsure how many are left.

I have one in the shed i don't think i'll part with.

No reason other than I wanted to leave as many www.5stardistilling.com.au parts as whole as possible to illustrate how versatile they can be with minimal fab skills. Plus i do like the goofy aesthetic.

It was a crap shoot keeping the 3/4 x 45 degree fitting to remain as true as possible. And also the bell end of the cone. This is evident with the vertical jacketed condenser. I'm just not that skilled.
An angled liebig or worm would hide the wonk..Recon I'll try and true it up a bit better.
A worm would add a bit more of the feel that I was trying to blend into this rig.

Ok this is mainly just for looks but this still has an elegant old world feel to it so in keeping how about a gas lamp glass with a copper top and base and a 1/4 or 3/8 Graham condenser running through the top and out the bottom , along with water inlet and outlet of cause . Not sure how well it would work but by gee it would look nice :D

I agree that this rig set up that way would have a nice quirky old timey feel.
