Bullshit mate :naughty:

IMHO custom hand made rigs crap all over the current commercial offerings driven by profit and greed, I would rather talk about & see hand made custom stills any day :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Cant wait to see your rig mate, and I reckon your going to love the product it gives you.

many thanks to Cupcake and Mac for supplying some loaner sight glasses...I get to play second assembly today.

btw EG has some of the coolest cork gaskets for glasses.

Now for those not in the know I'm somewhat adverse to posting pictures mainly cos my old school $49 phone takes shit shots.

However I might sneak a shot in while she's getting a second vinegar run and final leak testing...but then again no one's really interested in a home built perf plater these days...

Your no interest statement left me a little bewildered as I just luv checking out all the posts in all the bubbler builds... I think you need to run some good gear through your new build to pick up your spirit so to speak...I reckon there many many people reading and lurking just building there confidence up to post a comment.

Mate, you are so close.

This is the hard time in a build. "will my ideas work?". "was it all worth it?". "will they laugh at me?'

well, the answer is, yes, yes and yes.

But they won't be filling their bottles, you will. :teasing-neener:

2"/50mm Product condenser V2 with more 1/2" /12.7mm tubes than a SA summer could ever need...bastard of a revamp btw
Image012.jpg

A couple of thanks
All for the advice and patience
EG for the quality ferules, gaskets, assistance with build order, encouragement
Cupcake and Mac for advice, sight glasses
Mac for the soldering advice..starting to like this soft solder shite!
Tickle for condenser idea
OD for the plate drains idea

Thinking
Once done and first run under the belt figured I'd write how an avg bloke, in a 2m x3m shed with bugger all tools can build one of these beasts. It takes patience that's for sure but it can be done.

once she's tubed up and running I'll post a nice copper porn picy.

cheers
