Wondering has anyone ever looked at a valved tray in 4" - 8" from a rough costings view point?
Be interested to see what you think it would be worth for mtls. Time=free...well opportunity cost only.
Is it poss to get 6" sight glasses..
btw has anyone yet tinkered with a vacuum system .. read a bit on possibles but be nice to see if it's actually be done here.

I assume the aim of vacuum distillation is to decrease the boiling point of the wash thereby preventing the heat of distillation from potentially changing the flavours.
I am curios as to how they achieve this and keep the vacuum as distillate is drawn out.

you bugga...yes but no is the answer...cos I have one fear..the slits will block and act like a plug...
let me try the bastard extension first.
Lup see HD's EG thread on vacuum designs it's a long read...several days...lot of ideas...EG is about the best on this and has previously posted his concept of
"less in and more/same out=lower costs"
it gets covered roughly then gets lost but re focuses on this ...link to HD at the end if you want to time warp..
