Crows new still

Postby crow » Fri Jan 18, 2013 7:30 pm

As some of you might have gathered I have a new still. It is in fact the famed dragon slayer , so here's the progress so far
Got EG to modify an 18 gal keg with a 4" ferrule and a 4" port fill that I am hoping to use a sight glass on :handgestures-thumbupleft: .
So what I needed was a 17" rim to sit the keg on, went down the creek and very soon found two laying in the mud one was in a bastard of a spot and the other has been there for all of this centenary and a fair chunk of the last (stones fossilized to it ect) so that's the one I grabbed as the tyre looked rotten enough to tear off by hand just hope there's some metal under all that rust
Anyway plumbing to set up next I guess then shoot back to Vic SS and get the right sized ferrule to make up the parrot to condenser, check for leaks and we're off :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I thought with the spiel you started out with, when you went to drag it out,you fell in and half drowned, was saved by a buffed up poofter and he demanded access to your arse for saving you :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:
Good to see it didn't happen that way though :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: Where are the pic's tho :romance-kisscheek:

I was waiting for the bit where some stillsons fell out of a tree and donged him on the head. Then he got back to his car to find a parking fine under the wiper. Then walked home, only to remember the front door keys were back in the car.
But the rescue from the sexy guy was better :laughing-rolling:

:text-worthless:

Heres some of the boiler, hope that gets you started crow.

Can you make the pic a bit bigger, we can hardly make out what it is.... :teasing-neener:

Kinda looks like something SD would try to pass off as sanitary 304 SS :laughing-rolling:
