No biggy,

just an observation from todays pre run clean up...

Patena fills the small gaps between the plate and column wall...what a bloody bonus...

I thought till now it was a a pain...love the stuff.

"patination". Hmmm interesting, maybe when we build a still we should just leave it outside for a year and it will join itself, no.solderin g requiered :D . I hate the shit cause it's one of my jobs at work, scrubbing it off pipe joins :angry-banghead: .

You're not far from the truth googe, but it's only reliable if undisturbed.

If your getting that much bt, maybe you need to give it a bath occasionally.... :teasing-tease:
There's a difference between patina and green oxide shit. you sure you're not getting them mixed up?

it's the real deal but we're talking very small gaps here.

btw she's flushed post every run and tubbed up with our std. cleaning gear every 6+ runs.

I'm always not far from the true empty :-B . Is the difference with patina and oxide, patina is naturally occurring such as stilling, air ect and green oxide is from introduced chemicals such as flux ect?.
