This is a very handy tool for joining any sized pipe at any angle to another pipe of any size.
Ive used it a few times and it works very well. One trick Ive found to make life easier is to use clear sticky tape to cover the template before cutting it out and using it......makes the whole thing more ridgid and durable. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

ok so stupid question here from me but a must needed to be answered.

I want my blockhead to come out like a tee, although i want it going up say 20 degrees so not quite a tee. that way and re condensed liquid will fall back to the RC and not pool in the pipe section coming off the blockhead.

what degree do i need to set it too? joint angle 70 degrees to have a fall? and just place it where i want it?

this is 70 degrees.

i guess a change in direction of 45 degrees would be ok.
this is the 45 degree one but if this makes it level like a T then i would need to go 55 or something

what do people recommend for a tee that angles upwards (ascends)

Help need to know what angle to do to get it angled slightly up. ~x(

I dont think a liquid will pool on a flat surface?
You might get some drops but once its large it will run one way or the other and this is on a perfectly even surface with perfectly straight still ?

haha it wont be perfect, i want to angle it up so there is no chance, even just 10 degrees to allow for dodgy easy flange angles :-D

Not all of my flanges are spot on. i think it will look good too.

what angle is the normal tee one? 45 or 90 because 90 seems logical but 45 looks more realistic in the pic but then what do i know

i could get the level one and just file and adjust as i go making it but then i still need to know that one

Im thinking 70 degrees will give me an angle slightly higher than a tee, what do others think?

The normal blockhead? 2 inch opening onto a 2 inch 45 degree ? well thats how I beleive it to be

Just make the branch at 90° and a slide through fit, and tweak it up when you solder/braze it.

That looks pretty good, nice find.
Another point against the ducting program is that unless you buy it your locked to a 53° branch angle to be printable (or mine is anyway).

Has anyone had any luck doing this? I cant seem to get a 4" to join with a 6" parent pipe. Every time i cut it, it seems to be off by a few mm :angry-banghead:

Put some rough sand paper on the 6" and use that to profile the 4 that you have already cut, gets it perfect
