prickly pear?

while i was searching for sources of various fruit in my aria (or near enough) i came across a place that sells figs and prickly pear. has anyone done a prickly pear brandy?

Cant say I've ever heard of anything made from it, I'm sure there would be though if it is a viable source of fermentable sugar :think:

We all know how much Crow loves figs, maybe ask him for a run down on fermenting those :teasing-neener:

ool yeah they'd be great to work with :roll: . Buy a camel to use them up and get some real fruit I reckon :laughing-rolling:

well i came across some prickly pear wine recipes, so i guess i might still give it a go some time. if it has sugar in it, there isn't much i'm not prepared to try to ferment (although i can think of a few.... :whistle: )
