Roddersvb glad to welcome another into the 5star service is out of this world cult lol
Not sure if it is the amazing honest straight down the line advice, the super quick dispatch, or the free lolliesbut there is certainly something about the service that gets us all raving. The surprising thing is I m usually such a winger lol

Hey wellsy,
The PM offer of assistance was awesome, cannot fault the service even though I bought the oppositions gear!
Regretting my impetuousness now
Will seek advice on the next build.

Many distillers will work on 7 grams per litre. A bit higher if you won’t have it on wood for long a little less if you are aging for more than 2 years. As you are just starting out I would assume you don’t have a large supply behind you so maybe go as high as 10 grams per litre as no doubt you will be wanting to drink it in 6 - 12 months. If it lasts that long.

LOL
Isnt it great when people make recommendations and then when you follow those recommendations the person still exceeds what was said.

We keep trying to tell everyone that 5 star stuff sells itself andAndrew gives unbiased advice.

Glad to have another happy 5star user :)

Lol, itwasalways going to happen Lol
4 inch pot on the 50 litre boiler is where I started my journey mate it is fabulous gear.

Start planning your retirement shed with3 phase power and a recirculating water supply because that gear is going to last that long and beyond.

Congrats on taking the plunge you won’t regret it.

The service is great, no matter where you reside in Oz.

I’m like a kid in candy store when I’m the shop…..could possibly assist with the next stocktake as I’m dialling in on where all the spares are! :D

But ffs does Andrew have to park that big f#%k off 200ltr milk can right in front of me…..sneaky bugger! :laughing-rolling:

Nice bit of kit NoHope, enjoy your journey!

Cheers

The service does go a long way back to :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I remember when I got this 80 litre keg off Zak I did need a 6-4" reducer for my project so in my haste I rang McStill where he said he had one in the shed and 10 minutes later I was told their was an invoice pending. It got here 5 days later and if that isn't service they even put a spare seal in.

Cheers Bryan
