Nah it's 4" the fill port is 6"

There's just not enough room for two 6" ports on the 100L, I just run a 6" x 4" reducer off my boiler :handgestures-thumbupleft:

A few times I've been asked about the 6" port on our boilers being able to be used as a viewing port also, I didnt like the idea of a 150mm x 3mm piece of glass there and started thinking what can be done.

I ordered a couple of these to try out & reckon they're just the ticket for those wanting wide screen viewing :teasing-neener:

Sweet

I would like one at some point. Be easy to just pop another ferrule in the top of the boiler :happy-partydance:

Yep!

...... with a march pump & RIMS system attached to the drain I could pump a hot citric solution through the system, simply change a threeway valve and/or disconnect pump to flush with clean water provided by the condensers ;-)

This is what I'd like to end up with on my 6" rig, I'll need a weldless solution for mine.... but in future I can just add a 1" or 3/4" ferrule inconspicuously around the back of each tee & the top reducer.

DSC_0317.JPG

What I want to achieve is a clean in place (CIP) recirculating system I can leave on for a night using the boiler and elements as a heat source & storage tank for around 20 to 30 litres of hot recirculating acid wash, then dump the acid for a fresh water flush for a good 5 minutes.

Once thats done I can hook my compressor up to the outlet (parrot removed) and blow dry the sucker

I think 19 L/PM @ 3.4m max head height is going to be a little under gunned, I want my setup to be fairly high pressure so will look into pumps in depth once I get the other things sorted.
