Hi guys,

I think we may be getting a little off track here.

We are looking at a logo that is for our product, also one that is simple yet elegant.

Please remember that the logo that we use needs to be suitable for use as business cards as well as signage.

Cheers

Thanks Mrs Mac!

You may have to guide as to pretty much what you want.?
What do you want on the logo.??
Logos and signage can be quite different.
Logos usually consist of some shapes and very minimal workding, where as signage usually displays the entire name etc.

I would really love to submit a good design, as i have the software, but need to know what your looking for in them..?

I love that you want input.. but if you want something really professional, a Graphic Designer may be your best bet... as thats what they do.!!

Here to help!

Welly.

Hi welly

The biggest problem I see is that you have you a picture of a Holstein Still..... not a Five Star product.

I think what they're looking for has to be sophisticated enough to look classy but simple enough that it doesn't detract from information or content elsewhere.

Knowing nothing about class or sophistication, here's my entry.

With color and without.

I have no talent in this sort of stuff but in my opinion I like Mac's avatar on this site. If it was slightly more 3D with stainless steel script and with the southern cross I think it wold rock. And would be reasonably easy for a sign writer to do.

Wish I could draw it up.

Hmmmm maybe I could get my daughter to sketch it. She is an amazing tattooist (I am very proud of my daughters) :) (she works at Iron Anvil In Nowra plug plug)

Yes!

If I could redesign my current avatar I would use that, it suits business cards, letterheads and also signage :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I can design great things, unfortunately graphics isn't one of those things, I've got a lot of tattoos and would love to see what your daughter could come up with, something elegant, sophisticated yet funky or steampunk would be awesome :D

These may not ALL apply here, but it's not a bad read for those wanting to have a crack at designing a logo :handgestures-thumbupleft:

With a little crop I really like this one for business cards, and would also work on letter heads and signage :D

I don't mind that, I think the pic of Australia obscures the '5' too much though... You need the name to be able to be easily read and remembered at just a glance

Had a bash but will see if I can convince my daughter to work on it, I want rivits on the the 5 STAR to make them look like stainless steel and the stars are wrong as I can t work out how to get a 7 pointed star into Microsoft publisher (which is what I used to copy Mac's avatar). Anyway hag a go.
