Thanks Maheel
these are 2200w , would they do in a 50 litre keg ?
thinking of a twin element set up, for a quik heat up, would they would do the job ? (faster is better   )
the better 1/2 is getting on my case about the naked flame thing here ( thanks to SBB filling her pretty little head with worst case scenario's :x )
but I like the fast heat up that gas 747's offer :auto-layrubber:

I have a electronics whizz that lives up the road , he said if I get the elements he can do the rest with PID's (what ever that is :? :? )

cheers Stubs

funny that postage to Germany was also $22 and considering the Ukraine is only about 1500 kms away I find that a bit

Stokes make the elements here in aus. You want the 2400 watt Incolloy screw in hot water element. If you have a look through their catalogue you''ll find it and then email em for your closest electrical wholesaler that deals with them.

http://www.stokesap.com.au/Downloads/St ... Sect_F.pdf

Best is the 825 sheathed element..2512bl. The 800 one is second best ... 1329bl

Last one i bought was a fair few years ago now, but around $50

Maheel
Not worried about amps cos I had a 30 amp outlet wired into shed for welder ( the welder is hard wired in at the on/off switch, but a 6-pack or 2 in the right place and a couple of plugs etc and problem solved) :D

I know that philosofy ( I know, I should'a paid attn at school)
All I was meaning is that... current draw does not represent a problem, I assume that a 15 amp outlet would be a small problem in homes... is all ;)

I wish I could BD,
but SBB unmeaningly  ( good word that..I just made it up :geek: :laughing-rolling: ) has filled the better 1/2's head with worst case Alcohol & naked flame scenarios :angry-extinguishflame: , now she's going crazy :angry-screaming: and her head is full of shed fires, explosions, insurance issues, hospital & doctors bills from me being burn't to a crisp :auto-ambulance: etc.
So to keep the peace I have to :angry-tappingfoot: build an electric boiler ,
so I am going to make a fukin doosey coz I will never get the opportunity again

Geeeeeeze all I said was "Id keep the output a bit further from the flames"..........
I think the truth of it is that the BD 747 demonstration you gave her that day might have caused most of the feelings of fear and concern. :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:
