You're going to love that rig mate, it's a design that's functional and can really perform under a big load of heat.

Caveman has my first 2" model of this rig and has pulled the magic 20 litres per hour from it on a strip run :happy-partydance:

Can I christen your still as "Highflow" ?? :D

I don't have any experience with parrots but it looks to me like yours needs to have a smaller (more narrow) inlet tube. As the product fills up the parrot its going to back up the inlet tube at the same height. At that diameter tubing your going to have a lot of product sitting in the tube before it gets measured and won't give you a good indication of where your run is at. Probably be just as good as using an alcometer on samples taken directly from the outlet of your shotgun.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Or is the fast output the reason for the large input tube?

db it's only a few mls difference mate, 1/2" isnt to bad for the parrot stem. ;-)

It's amazing what you can accomplish/build, with a 4lb hammer and grinder,as a matter of fact, that's a kith the extent of my tool box,oh and a MIG welder :handgestures-thumbupleft:

yeah i like the mig it makes for fast welding but its giving me the shit paying for the gas im planing on going back to all stick welding. Takes longer but much cheaper in the long run. As for all the tools yeah i got a fair few thats just the tip of the iceberg. I got way to much shit out there
