microstill for gin

Here's the latest creation
Kitchen boiler from under the sink ( gotta replace it I've been told :angry-tappingfoot: ) Hold 5 litres with 3" of headboard, 1" column etc, etc,etc
Its main purpose is Gin ;)

That looks like the best thing ever cooked on a BBQ stubs!

Having a look at the condenser, is there any reason to have the top outlet of the condesner water pipe run all the way down to the other one? Did you just have copper to spare and made it look better or is there another reason I cant see?

It doesn't HAVE to be like that S&L but I like it like that...
and it also gets it outta the heat, and it actually helps with balance and stabity, cos the lid is sealed with flour paste and It makes it a solid unit :geek:

Yeah that makes sense I am not a fan of having my garden hoses in the path of hot air (thats why im always watching)

I reckon it looks better that way too, and for the couple of extra bucks for the copper it would be worth it. 8-)
