I've had my Bok head sitting in vinegar overnight to clean it up so I can have another crack at soldering it tomorrow...

Today I bought a few stainless scrubbers and a big bag of Scoria from the hardware, with any luck I can do a nice spirit run of my neutral tomorrow night. If not, my cornflakes whiskey has finished fermenting and I think I might have to strip that and start gen 2 this weekend :)

My missus is studying natural medicine, and needs some azeo (or as close as possible) to make tinctures and stuff, so I'll put aside a bottle of the strong stuff for that... But then I want to make some limoncello etc, and I might try a couple of essences just for shits and giggles...

Some of the essences aren't that bad. I have stumbled on top a local hbs who makes his own essences. He makes a dack janiels and after oaking that on toasted oak for 3 weeks... fuckin delicious :D . Got a 600ml juice bottle of the stuff a while back makes enough to make 30 bottles :D
