Postby Zzpop » Sat Jan 03, 2015 9:51 am

Hi All
Doing my first run today with new Boka 1m packed with ss scrubbers column is insulated up to takeoff.Column temp is78.8 I refluxed for 30 min and have begun to take fores at 1 drop a second. It has been over an hour now and I have just over 100ml of fores .Is this to slow or is that the go.Boiler is charged with 40 percent low wines stripped with my pot.Boiler is 2000 watt hbs jobbie.Any advice welcome

Probably a little slow, with a charge of low wines at that rate it will take you a looooooong time. Try to get a constant stream about the thickness of a matchstick.

Aim for somewhere around a litre per hour and you should be right, go grab a nice comfy chair you're in for a long day :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Finished run about 5 pm 32 x 200ml cuts.96 percent without temp correction.Boka sat on 78.8 all the way through until it spiked to 81 at the end very noticeable tails
