Building a new still

Postby Peete » Tue Apr 21, 2015 9:45 pm

Hi guys, just toying with the idea of building a reflux still. The biggest problem so far is where to get suitable copper tubing South of Brisbane. If any one has some info on this please share.

I have seen a few designs and no doubt I could do a reasonable job.
Also if you have links to suitable sites that would be great also.
I want to build something around the 20 liter size, so any useful info will be appreciated.

:D

i would aim for something a little larger than 20L
with cuts etc if you have a 20L capacity, with some head room you are left with 15ish L. thats about 1.5 or so L runs, a few cut jars and you havent made a whole lot

If you're going to build a still and boiler i would definitely be starting with a keg :handgestures-thumbupleft:
And i have found this site to be very knowledgeable
