Using My Boka for Potting

Postby xcvator » Sun Oct 11, 2015 1:31 pm

I've got 1 of 5sd's boka's and it's pretty good and very easy to run, almost set and forget :handgestures-thumbupleft:
Now I'm wondering about using part of it as a pot still. The lower section (packed) is 600mm long. Will this be too tall to connect a lynne arm to ( with most of the packing removed ) or should I have the pot still coming from the keg with a much shorter riser, if that makes sense ?
cheers Keith

For pot mode, wouldn't you just remove the packing and open the takeoff of the boka fully? A taller column would produce only a small amount of passive reflux, so i would think your 600mm section with no packing will be fine.
