DA, I use about 30 flowers to the litre and soak them for an hour. The gin is then strained through a coffee filter into bottles. Don’t think there is a right or wrong answer to your question. I reckon as it’s only colour, there is a fair amount of scope to alter quantities. I did a bit of research as to how they are used in herbal tea and used that as a baseline.
Had a sample of this batch the other night. Wish I had some lime or lemon handy to enhance the colour change. The glasses were not the best but I just wanted to try the flavour. It was yummy.
