Brewers Course

Postby Wellsy » Sun Feb 14, 2021 9:33 am

I heard about a Micro Brewery course being offered by the local TAFE so I went and looked it up as I thought I would get a much better understanding of washes, yeasts and grains and then be able to adapt that for my distilling. It sounds a good little basic course and is a couple of nights a week for 10 months, or you can take twice as long and do it 1 night a week. This all sounds promising until I read the price $7,500:00.!!!!!!
Yes that's right SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS !!!!!!
The missus says to me, hell you are learning more just doing what you are doing so I immediately start scheming :))
If I take a 2 week holiday to queensland in July, I could pay for the holiday 1500 plus buy the bits for a bubbler 2000, pay Andrew for a days personalised tuition guess 500 ( still to be negotiated ) and still be 3500:00 better off. :)) :laughing-rolling:
Now lets see if I can sell that idea to the minister of finance

Damm

How can I knock back that sort of deal :D

Now to try my best sales technic, although I think it will be more the timing than the sales pitch LOL

Indeed Mate

I cant see overseas travel happening this year , that is what we are waiting for as we have 2 kids overseas that are due a visit.

So a localised holiday will be the order of the day, after we get our injections of course
