I have a soft spot for watches. The Seiko was purchased in 82 and has not missed a beat and I have only had to replace the rubber strap with the metal one that is on it now.
The Tag I have had for 11 years and absolutely love it, got it for my 50th birthday. I was going to get another for my 60th but got a Harley instead.

I stopped wearing watch's decades ago and just use my mobile phone for the time :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Now I do have a Vienna regulator Wall clock thats over 100 years old and when I showed a pic of it to our insurance guy he said mate don't bother as that clock will send you broke in premiums due to the value of it. :scared-eek:

The last valuation I got was back in '06 and I was offered 75K for it where I said yea right no thanks mate it's staying in the family :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

My hubby is into vintage/classic Omega watches. His father passed on his Omega Speedmaster, but otherwise he likes the simple, elegant, stylo, simple face. I've bought him several over the years for special occasions. We also have a great local watchmaker - he's restored a couple for me. I'm always on the lookout.

There is something very fascinating and enticing about a good, classic watch.

Must be the irish coming out in The Stig as it looks like the watch is on the wrong arm :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Watch is on the correct (left) arm.
The “buttons” are for different functions , the crown in the right is normal , the big one in the middle left is actually the depth gauge .
