Gummy Bears

Postby Amberale » Sun Sep 12, 2021 11:09 am

Call me late to the party but I couldn’t work out why my packages from 5* usually include a pack of bears.
Not being a sweets eater they have gone to friends kids or in the bin.
I am trying to redeem myself at the moment with my last pack of sugar dusted gummys but they don’t seem to be absorbing much.
I have had them in 90+% HoH for a couple of weeks and they look pretty much the same.
Do they need to be in a lower proof to absorb the alcohol or do I just have to wait?
Does water help in the absorption?
There are no children within a couple of kms of my place and the bears are as secure as my firearms.
I tried to search for this info but just ended up going down a Phantom rabbit hole.

I just get chubby chups, no gummy bears here. Oh wait maybe they think I am silly enough just drinking the stuff without finding another way to inject food.
Stay safe over there amber as I see you guys got a couple of cases near by. I bet it never felt so good to be isolated hey :)

:o
What?
WHERE?
:violence-smack:
Those fools can not harm me, my double vaccination is like a shield of steel!

I haven’t heard of anything too close to us Wellsy.
We are just outside of the metro area and well clear of the Macedon outbreak.
I’ve been hitting the Marsh about once a week if that for a quick grocery and fuel shop and not going off the farm.
Of course a couple of hundred acres, motorbikes, big sheds, dams with fish and yabbies in them and a freezer full of home grown beef helps, a lot.
I have friends and family in far far worse positions.

We have never sent gummy bears :handgestures-thumbdown:
It’s only ever been lolly pops of some description or we did go through a box of hot skittles a while back
And lately it’s been face masks :laughing-rolling:

Hmm, I haven’t seen that yet but it is out there.

Bring the missus, bring a trailer.
The Studmistress will sell her a couple of cows.
I promise they will be pretty and tasty.
Life is full of such conundrums.

Narr mate we used to own 20 acres with 50 mega litres of water. We ate our own calves, lambs, chickens, rabbits, geese, guinea fowl, turkeys, quail. All super tender.
Milk our own cows as well, fantastic life style, but life moves on.
What breed do you guys run.

They are generally very quiet and yep, they get fat just looking at grass.
Delicious too!

Have the bears swollen up or dissolved at all. If theyve swollen up theyre absorbing the etoh. Might be a good treat for a party to bring some out with toothpicks.
If they havent swollen up have you tried shaking the periodically?
